The term “society” used in any part of this policy refers to Soc. Fil. La Stella.
Should the Society decide and or needs to amend or change its privacy policy, any changes are to be posted on https://www.lastellabandclubgudja.org.mt/Home. Changes and amendments can be done after the committee of the society agrees on such changes to take place.
        1. This policy is in compliance with The Data Protection Act, Chapter 440 of the
        Laws of Malta 2002, (The provisions of this Act shall apply to the processing of
        personal data, wholly or partly, by automated means and to such processing other
        than by automated means where such personal data forms part of a filing system or
        is intended to form part of a filing system..)
        
        
        2. The society is not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of
        websites to which the society may link through social media platforms or any
        other medium.
    
Membership registration form
During membership registration, you are required to supply your name and surname, domicile address and date of birth and home / mobile number. You are also requested to furnish name and surname and date of birth of children pertaining the same family. Together with the membership registration form you are requested as well to fill up the consent form. This form allows the society to disclose any digital material in which you and /or your children/ child under the legal age might appear for marketing or for digital compiling material purposes only.
        1. Members list – The society holds a members’ list of each and every individual
    who willingly adhered to form part of the society.
    2. Childrens' list – The society holds a children list under the legal age.
    3. Fathers and Mothers list – The society holds a fathers and mothers list.
    4. SMS list – The society holds an SMS list in order to inform its members and
    others who willingly gave their mobile number to the secretary with various
    information (marketing, general information, share of knowledge) periodically
    from time to time or as the need arises.
    5. Dates – The society holds date of births of family members of the registered
    members. Scope: the society may deem fit to send cards or gifts to these
    persons to congratulate on their anniversaries or birthdays or any other
    occasion which might be deemed fit, this can be effected virtually as well.
The society does not disclose your information with any unauthorised persons. Your information is not given to third parties outside the society.
1. The society may disclose personal information if required and permitted to do so by law, in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
1. Upon request, you can:
          a) Remove your personal information, from the database, thereby
    cancelling your registration.
      b) Correction and/ or changes of personal information.
    2. In order to request a correction or cancellation the secretary has to be
    contacted.
    Your right – You can ask the secretary at any given time what information the
    society holds upon yourself.
